Most powerful 10 incher – ASUS Eee PC 1015PN

If you’re on the market for a 10 inch netbook and you’re looking to get the most powerful device you can find, the Asus EEE PC 1015PN is right now that one.

It brings all the strong points of the EEE PC line, perhaps the most notorious in the class, plus a couple of extras.

ON the outside, it comes with a matte casing available in 4 different colors, plus a nice ergonomic keyboard and a properly spaced trackpad. Overall body is sleek and construction is top notch, like on all Asus laptops.

The real goodies lie inside though: N550 dual core processor, 1 GB of memory, 250 GB hard-drive and Nvidia ION. This will allow the 1015PN to play you daily apps, but also HD content (including 1080p clips) and some games. However, the 1015PN comes with Windows 7 Starter, which does not allow the Optimus technology to work as it should, so you will have to stick to changing between graphic cards manually (with reboot). Or upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium, for some extra bucks.

Of course, being the best ain’t cheap, as the Asus 1015PN is expensive even discounted. Still, if you want to have the best 10 inch mini laptop available right now, and actually the only one with ION and dedicated graphics, this is your only option.
