Powerful Gateway LT3119u ultraportable, now discounted

The Gateway LT3119u is not just another 11.6 inch ultra portable from the many such devices available on the market, but one of the best in terms of price/performances.

First, I do have to say that it looks great, although the exterior is glossy and will easily catch smudges and scratches. It is also available in a couple of different colors, including Black and vivid red.

Inside there’s a dual-core AMD processor, dedicated ATI graphics , 2 GB of memory and Windows 7 Home Premium, so quite a capable configuration here. You also get a 6 cell battery, but since this one is powered by AMD, only expect up to 4 hours of life out of it.

Now, such a config would usually be quite expensive, but it’s not actually the case here, as the Gateway LT3119u is discounted for Black Friday and has a very convenient price. Thus, if you’re looking for a potent ultra portable and battery life is not really you main concern, you’ll hardly find anything better for this kind of money.
