HP 2009M ultra wide 20 inch monitor

Widescreen monitors are not something new, but super widescreen is a new trend that switches from 16:10 aspect ratio to 16:9 for LCD monitors. This change makes possible to watch HD TV series without horizontal black stripes on your screen. Movies tough, who use super super wide screen aspect ratio (we haven’t found another term for this) will still have horizontal stripes, but narrower than ‘classic’ 16:10 wide screen.

If we’ve convinced you, the HP 2009M is a very good cheap 20 inch monitor with 16:9 aspect ratio and 1600 x 900 pixels screen resolution (less than 1080p and more than 720p). The stated contrast is 1000:1, good for office work, watching movies and do some occasional gaming. Screen Glare is reduces by HP’s own technology named BrightView. You won’t need dedicated speakers for your PC because HP 2009M comes with a pair of decent speakers (not for audiophiles tough).
