The Samsung 2233SW is a 21.5 inch screen with Full HD resolution and a gorgeous piano black paint finish, making it a nice fit to any living room. The technical specifications are on par with the monitor’s looks: 5 ms response time and 15.000:1 contrast ratio, and proprietary Samsung Magic technology for vivid colors and multiple picture profiles.
Active Ratio Control is also a nice addition to Samsung’s 2233SW LCD monitor: it allows distortion free images as it doesn’t stretch 4:3 and 5:4 images to 16:9 aspect ratio to fill the entire screen. So you’ll get black bars if using other aspect ratio resolution that the native 16:9 format, but the objects won’t be distorted.
