The technical specifications are on par with the monitor’s looks: 5 ms response time and 15.000:1 contrast ratio, and proprietary Samsung Magic technology for vivid colors and multiple picture profiles.
Active Ratio Control is also a nice addition to Samsung’s 2233SW LCD monitor: it allows distortion free images as it doesn’t stretch 4:3 and 5:4 images to 16:9 aspect ratio to fill the entire screen.
