Amazon Kindle Fire: the cheapest brand name 7 inch tablet

Save: $0
If you are in the market for a tablet right now, it is almost impossible for the Amazon Kindle Fire to not be on the top of your priorities list.
The Fire, which was unveiled last week, will start shipping on November 15 and its price tag is set to revolutionize the entire tablet market. The 7-incher is available right now for only 199 dollars, which is a few hundred bucks under what all the other important and strong slates go for.
Even though you might think that you will be forced to sacrifice in terms of performance looking at the Fire’s unbelievable price, you are dead wrong. The tablet sports a 7-inch multi-touch display with IPS technology and 1024 x 600 pixels resolution and is powered by a pretty snappy dual-core TI OMAP 4 processor.
In terms of software, the Fire is set to run an original operating system designed and built by Amazon on top of the Android 2.3. The user interface is like nothing you have ever seen so far and the number of apps you have access to is pretty impressive, including millions of movies, games and books. The Amazon Silk cloud-accelerated browser is also a very nice touch, promising to provide a very good and snappy browsing experience.
The Amazon Kindle Fire does not come with a very original design, but is light, slim and elegant-looking nevertheless. In terms of internal storage space, things are also not great, with only 8 GB of memory, but the free cloud storage for all Amazon content should make your life easier and should actually make the 8 GB more than you will ever need.
Amazon’s first ever high-end tablet also comes with a decent enough battery, which should provide about seven or eight hours of autonomy based on medium use.
All in all, the Fire is by far the best deal you can get on the tablet market right now, offering all the basic things you need from a device of its nature and more for the best possible price. Hurry up, though, if you want to get your hands on this beautiful 7-incher, because the demand is pretty high and the stocks could well be exhausted soon enough!
