Amazon Kindle Touch eReader: turn page with your fingers

Save: $0
You are probably all familiar with the extremely popular line of Amazon Kindle e-book readers. Well, starting next month, this line will be enriched with another great product, the Kindle Touch, which keeps the elegance and the simplicity of your basic Kindle e-reader and adds a special new feature.
The Kindle Touch, as you may have probably picked up from its name, doesn’t use the classic keyboard interface, but a very simple and efficient touchscreen. This allows you to turn pages, search, shop books or take notes quickly, easily and in a more fashionable way.
The Touch, sporting a classic 6-inch E Ink display with proprietary waveform, font technology, 600 x 800 pixels resolution at 167 ppi and 16-level grayscale, is now more compact and portable than ever, featuring a very sleek and cool design.
In terms of storage space, Amazon’s new gadget comes with 4 GB of internal memory, enough for holding up to 3,000 books, but also free cloud storage for all Amazon content. The battery is better than ever before, having an autonomy of up to two months based on light use, and the Touch also comes with built-in Wi-Fi and optional 3G.
The cheapest Kindle Touch right now is available for, believe it or not, an under triple digits price tag (more exactly 99 dollars). This is the Wi-Fi only version that also includes ‘’special offers’’ from Amazon, meaning that you will be bugged from time to time with commercials.
You can also get the Wi-Fi version without sponsored screensavers and ads for $139 or you can opt for the 3G version, which goes for 149 and 189 dollars (with or without special offers). Either way, you pretty much get one of the best deals on the market, receiving an extremely functional and good-looking gadget for a great price in comparison with what other e-reader producers can currently offer you.
The Kindle Touch can only be pre-ordered at this time and will start shipping on November 21, but our advice is to go and get it as soon as possible, because the demand is pretty high and it isn’t unlikely for Amazon to actually run out of Kindles.
